More about the book, and the author.
Russell Guého has lived and worked in the Kimberley region for almost 15 years and has a deep and enduring passion for its future preservation. Whislt his book details many of the areas that can be visited, his message about sustainability is also strong.
"It's important that people are able to experience what this region has to offer, but it is just as important to understand the impact that travel has on some of these fragile areas and know how to minimise the impact of their visit," said Russell.
"The book provides various tips on how this can be achieved and explains why such care should be taken. Enjoy the Kimberley for its wilderness values, its unique flora and fauna and its geological and scenic wonders, but most importantly enjoy the Kimberley for future generations - enjoy it sustainably."
